8 Ohm and 4 Ohm (not a 'load' question)

I get impedance's, but I have recently come into a 4 Ohm Avatar 2x12 and 8 Ohm Aguilar 2x12.

They sound beautiful, but there is obviously different amounts of power going to each cab. I'm not sure of the sensitivity difference and efficiency playing a part here, but due to the Aguilar receiving less power would I be smart to have that cab on top? Would that trick my ears, or people's for that matter, into thinking it's an evenly dispersed sound?

okay, i do not know what i am talking about...now that that's established, won't individual speaker resistance and cabinet wiring come into play here? for instance...if the aguilar 2x12 has two 4 ohm speakers wired in series, won't the amp 'see' that as one speaker load? if the aguilar has two 16 ohm speakers wired in parallel (for an 8 ohm nominal total), won't the amp see that as two distinct speaker loads? (or is this all a load of...) later, ron

The amp sees each cabinet as one load, so the amp is seeing two loads overall (with both cabinets). I think that's what you were asking?

Thanks to the others too, eventually I might go back to the ol' power/pre rack set-up. But for now I'll keep the Aggie on bottom, it does have casters after all ;D
