90s/early 2000s instrumental hip hop beats

Looking for license-free Kid Koala/Herbalizer/Amon Tobin Ninja Tune beats to jam to. Anyone have a good source?

The original Invalid Link Removed series (from when Coldcut was using the DJ Food alias, before handing it off to Strictly Kev) and the first Zen Brakes were intended for use by producers in their own mixes. I thiiiiiiiiiink they're license-free but you'd have to check. I'm not seeing the Jazz Brakes albums on the Ninja Tunes website right now and while it has Zen Brakes available, there's not much useful info.

Invalid Link Removed series is also a breaks collection with a similar vibe. I'm confident this one requires licenses but if you're just jamming on your own with them I doubt anybody other than your neighbors will mind.

Circling back about "Jazz Brakes" because my memory kinda sucks... iirc some of the disks have un-cleared samples (especially the first couple volumes, which came out before the Biz Markie lawsuit), so it's possible Ninja Tune has ceased distribution to avoid complications. If you're looking for tracks for performance or recording, you might want to ask the label. The answer might end up being "We won't sue, but we can't promise that nobody else will."
