I sold my bass with the Neo P to another TBer. Hopefully they'll come in here.

Meanwhile, I have to plot what bass to upgrade with 916 pickups next...

My pumped up Squier Sonic with NeoPs is a keeper.
Only thing in it’s realm are the 2 “P” basses I have with Split coil MFDS which is what started the ball rolling with Matt on the MFD design redux.

He needs a couple more beta tests on the design before he rolls them out publicly, one of those being me, but I’m in the middle of a move and can’t test till mid Nov.

I really need me two MFD-style pickups with gold pole pieces. Hopefully he'll be able to source them. I have been dreaming of a build for years and am just finally ready to get started.

Not yet! I was kind of waiting to see if anything worked out with getting hardware from G&L.

Either way, I was looking to do 2 poles per string like the SB-1 pickup, but perhaps stagger them a little, somewhat like Nordstrand's NP4A.

I'll reach out to him shortly and see what can be done. Those pickups look beefy.

today i just quickly checked ebay if there are some nice Ps for my new project .. and i found these I ve always wanted to try pole per string Ps MFDs ... so i had to order them i m really curious to try them

Added a Serek pickup cover to the darkstar neck pickup... fit perfectly. Just hot glued it on but it's staying.

That maple body is gorgeous and I can’t wait to see how she turns out when she’s finished.

Would you ever put the T40 in the neck and put the 916ThunderNeo in the Ric bridge position? That config would be a monster tonally (very doomy if you want to get there) but I’m not sure if that meets your specific tonal needs.
