A B+ Precision... what does A+ sound like??

Simple request -

I find myself sometimes having a hard time identifying with my Precision Bass. It can sound very different in many different contexts.

Can you post a clip of yourself playing a Fender Precision with what you'd call the best, most true, and most sought after "Precision Sound"?

No distortion - any amplifier - just the "best" Precision sound.

I guess what caused all this is a recording engineer calling my Precision a "B+ Precision", and I just kind of wondered what the gold standard reference is. My P is a '73 maple fingerboard.

Thanks :)

He's not a dick.. more than likely he's just telling it like it is. P's can be all over the map in terms of tonal so dont take offense to his comment. To some guys, a mid 70's P is the best. Others dig a 57 type sound ect... whatever.
