There was one on consignment at my local music store. The owner was getting rid if his exotic collection. I only saw it on there website. The owner keeps all the boutiques in the back and will only bring them out if he thinks you are serious about buying the bass.

Looks pretty Alembic-y. Were I a king, I'd probably have Jens Ritter on speed dial, or have Sheldon Dingwall building me Prima Artists.

IMHO it's not a bad looking bass, but for some reason it reminds me of a cheap Cort knockoff of an Alembic, and for the price he's asking, you actually could get a decent Alembic.

I saw an ad for these with Stanley Clarke holding one. So its got Stanley cred.

I played the bass that was made by this company that Stanly Clarke owns unplugged.

Resonated extremely well and the build quality seriously would give most of the more well known high end builders a run for there money. Some of the best overall craftsmanship that anyone familiar with super high end built basses(or guitars) would recognize and respect.

Again I've only seen one bass from this company first hand(and unplugged).

How do you know? I seriously doubt that, although my opinion, like yours, is also admittedly offered without any evidence.

Have you played this bass?

It does have 6 pickups and I'm sure one can, if nothing else cat a nice sound or two or three can be obtained from this instrument.

That's like saying a Honda civic will get you around town better than a Rolls Royce. It's correct if you look at from the point of view that a Honda will use less gas and and break down less often. However, that's hardly the point of buying a Rolls Royce.

If you are the King of Monaco and your band is playing the wedding of the Prince of Luxembourg to the Dutchess of Kent, you need a bass like this.
