well… since you asked…..

carrots are not heavy feeders, I’d recommend a balanced organic fertilizer, applied at planting and again at about 4 weeks. The biggest consideration with carrots is the soil. You want a nice loose sandy loam, with very few rocks present. Watch your nitrogen, because too much N will get you beautiful carrot top greens, but will really hurt root development.

I don't own one, but while I listened to online demos, I found it to have a somewhat 'plasticky' sound, just like the one I couldn't marry with in my 2006 Rockbass Corvette. maybe, it's something in the finish, I don't know. my oil finished Warwicks don't have this sound even with the same pickups.

if you want a 4-string active PJ and open to Chinese basses at $1k, consider also a Spector NS Pulse 4. but it's bolt-on if that matters.

Look for it used. China won't make a cent off your purchase and you won't lose money when you sell it.

I can't see spending $1000 on a chinese bass. And, I have dozens of chinese basses, and they aren't bad. But, none are $1000 basses. I don't think I paid more than $200 for any of them, which is fair.

I've posted this before, but a good example is chinese trailer hitches and drawbars. I've run into waaaaaay too many examples where the 2" square drawbar doesn't fit into the 2" square hole. They always almost kinda-sorta get it right. And not just hitches. Tools, plugs, bolts, screws, capacitors, transistors........take your pick. They can get it close, but never right.

I mean, seriously. If you can't make a 2" square block fit into a 2" square hole, I have absolutely no confidence in your ability to manufacture anything.
