Isn't blood sugar sex magic like 20 years old? Hardly modern. Listen everyone has their own tastes, if I want funk I will listen to Sly and the family, Rufus, P funk etc and not a group of suburban white kids with behavioral issues. The RHCP certainly have a right to exist, but when the media machine causes them to be deified when they are just so so then it becomes irritating to me.

I love The Chili Peppers, up to One Hot Minute anyway. I wasn't dissin' Flea, I think he's bad ass. His basses are pure crap, but that's an entirely different discussion.
