A good bass for glam metal?

Go with P/PJ/Dbl P pickups with anything pointy. You should be able to find a BC Rich for a decent price. Like the Dbl P Warlock or as mentioned the Dbl P Mockingbird.

Bright, neon or sparkly to cap it off. We can't forget about the the splatter paint option.

Thanks everyone, I think about purchasing the Kramer and applying something to look flashy.Got myself a Yamaha too, though the ibanez is what I use most frequently...How about the amp though? Got myself a fender rumble 25, but I want something more powerful?

Man, just play your ibanez. If you're wanting to glam it up......get some of those neon strings by DR. The ibanez will have the look, and the sound, without being overly flashy. And it's what you already have and are comfortable playing.

Amp wise....well, depending on how much you care about lugging the weight around, a hartke 5000 through a hartke410xl sound just like the 80s-90s, and can be had for pennies nowadays.

Modem lightweight, ID go with a GK mb500 and a rumble410.
