- I'd like to get a tattoo someday.
- I love drugs and find nothing wrong with them.
- On the internet I'm fine but in a crowd I'm "the weird guy who doesn't fit in".

I am 51 6'2"and self employed in media production/conversion, never been married (or divorced)
Have been known to play improv/experimental music
Enjoy swing, latin and ballroom dancing, usually go 2 to 3 times a week, can't stand line dancing though.
Couldn't give a rats ass about pro sports
Favorite critters are cats, owls and bears
Writing a book of random stuff, working title is "The Ursine Low Woodwind Club"
Can listen to something like King Crimson on the one hand, then turn around and enjoy kd lang just as much.
Have ZERO interest in tatoos or any such thing.
Favorite version of Batman is the campy 60's Adam West version! Favorite villains were The Joker and The Penguin.

Took up the bass at 22, quit after a few months, and took it up again at 40.
Astoundingly little musical ability.
A bit inept socially.
No significant other, and no prospects.
PhD. in Chemistry, and work for "The Man."
Have lost almost 40 lbs. since January. About 20 to go.
I am the guy who walks across a crowded room to adjust a picture that's slightly crooked, because that sort of thing drives me nuts.
Can never see myself getting a tat.
Am ambidextrous. Can hold a pen in each hand and write forwards and backwards simultaneously.
I sometimes seem to be able to read more quickly when I hold the book upside down.
As a result of a poor decision I achieved minor TBOT celebrity, complete with eponymous emoticon.

~ Much to my girlfriends delight I'm a pretty sappy person. I can be moved to tears by a song or movie. It's embarrassing sometimes but what can ya do?
~ I'm a natural born smart ass whose quick wit has gotten him into trouble more often that I care to admit. Not mean spirited, but I love to get a laugh .. I might be addicted to it, in fact.
~ I sometimes feel weird when I use big words. I love words, but the looks I get .. well It's just weird. I self consciously think that they are surprised because I don't look like an "Academic".
~ Scrabble might be the best game ever invented in my opinion.
~ Summer: Highland Falls by Billy Joel off of Songs in the Attic is one of the most complete, perfect songs I've ever heard. The lyrics, the voice and the music are as good as it gets to my mind.

Dictionary Police here because I am an AH today! Screech......door slam....pounding footsteps...."Hold it right, there, muth...."
A FACTOID is an untrue piece of information presented as true. The sometimes included secondary definition that it is a trivial "fact" is based solely on colloquial usage BECAUSE the true definition is unknown by users of the word (even in the media). This is an unusual oxymoronic use of word definition where acceptance of wrong definition makes it a secondary definition in the dictionary even though incorrect. That means you have an "acceptance" precedent based on error. That means therefore that any dictionary accepting the secondary definition without the disclaimer that it is wrong, is misleading at best and furthering ignorance at worst. In that approach, logic therefore can also leads you to maintain that any word can be subverted through ignorance to downgrade the use of language. Hah! Try such logic in mathematics or figuring out your paycheck.

I'm 18, 6'4" tall and 180 pounds.
Currently in my first year as a double bass performance major at UNCSA.
I play bass 6 hours a day on average. Started upright when I was 11, electric when I was 14.
I've spent far too much money on my hobbies.
I have a moustache. Used to have hair most of the way down my back; recently cut to shoulder length.
I wear shorts and a T-shirt year round.
I consider myself a gamer but don't really have time for it any more aside from the occasional jaunt on Minecraft.
I have aspirations of becoming known for my music.
I am well aware of the limited likelihood of the above statement.
I would drop school without a moment's hesitation to go on tour with my band.
