A little about yourself?

- Went with my GF and step sons to Disneyland in CA earlier in the year. We all feel in love with America and the people, and would love to live there but due to personal circumstance are unable to.

I hope you experienced more than just Disneyland to form your opinon of the US, California, and the people. TB gives a much more realistic cross-section of the US population than you'll get during a day at Disneyland. That place can be downright frightening.

Hello. I'm Maki. I like long walks on the beach, holding hands, sexy asian chicks, and blumpkins. I generally embarrass most people that I'm with. If I sneeze, I never cover my mouth and nose, and have genuinely disgusted people in a purely innocent fashion because of this. I'm getting old. I'm beginning to appreciate things like gardening in my underwear on a nice warm sunday day. I don't bother getting dressed because I'm just getting dirty and drunk anyway. The 18 pack box works great for holding those pesky weeds. I said 'pesky'. Not magical. I have very little pride and nap often. I like good beer but I'll drink bad beer when I'm lazy, which is a pretty regular occurrence. Sometimes I nap on my front lawn. I'm pillar of the community because I'm a people person.

you ever heard of blumpkin backfire?

I enjoy cooking.

History is my favorite topic.

Law enforcement/military is my general career direction

I'm afraid of spiders

I talk a lot when it comes to music or history. I talk a bit like Reed from Criminal Minds...

Once I aquire my firearms license, a Mosin Nagant 91/30 will be my first purchase. I would prefer a Russian made Mosin Nagant from the late 30's or early 40's, preferably one that was originally outfitted with the scope. If the scope is on it, and it was originally the mounted with THAT scope, it would have been a top of the line rifle. They only chose the best Nagant's in production to outfit them with sniper hardware. I would also like to aquire a Finnish Mosin 91/30, because that most likely would have meant it was taken from a Russian soldier during the winter war between Russia and Finland.

Rambling on, told you.

I love Mexican Food. A burrito is a perfect food.

I love my Wife and 2 great kids much, much more.

I collect way more hats than any sane man should.

I play in 5 different bands and two revolving tribute projects...never enough time. Music keeps me up at nite (always a new song to transcribe). Combined with a 45 hour a week job and family life, I never sleep.

Despite the above fact, I rarely go out if not gigging...I like being home whenever I can...kind of a jerk that way I guess.

My music has been played internationally on college / commercial / satellite radio, and network tv, especially on soap operas and bed-music for shows. Go fig, but it PAYS.

Of all the "bigger" names I've played for / with, 2 of them are now dead. It creeps me out, as I always wanted that "one last gig" with them.

I build basses for myself and never end up keeping them as someone always ends up wanting it more. No, I am not soliciting orders.

I someday want to open a cool music club that caters to a more discerning clientele, as I hate the meat market bar scene. People who are in love with live music for the music need apply.

I think the Jeep Cherokee is the perfect vehicle and am still pissed they stopped making them.

I am short tempered (my Italian side) and fly off the handle easily...wish I didn't.

I have an unhealthy fixation with Kari Byron.

enough?

- Vinyl records were the center of my life until I realized that I had to start buying CDs if I wanted to keep feeding my music addiction.

- I was a Kiss freak during my teenage years.

- I play an instrument that I didn't know existed (everything were "guitars" for me).

- BC/AC are two clear divisions in my life: Before Computer and After Computer.

- There are three activities in life that show exactly the opposite of what I am: Dancing, drawing and sports/physical training.

- I was a big smoker from 17 to 25. On the other hand, I've never liked alcohol.

- I'm a very nostalgic person, specially about childhood, because during that time the absolute only worry was to be good at school. As we were recently talking with a then-classmate: "We were so happy and didn't know it".

- After two failed marriages, it isn't among my plans to do it again.

- I don't have/want kids.

- I love dogs, but don't have one because I don't have enough time to take care of him/her.

- [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] is sort of a creed for me and I try to follow it as much as I can.

- I hate cables and have to deal with them most of the time.

- I want to know the United States of America in person, but my visa is always denied.

- I don't believe in religion.

- Coke Zero is my only vice.

- I consider quitting smoking and reducing weight my biggest personal victories.

- Contrary to lots of people I know, my musical tastes are extremely wide.
