-finishing up a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering in april 2011, probably going for a masters degree
-used to buy gear indiscriminately, but stopped after buying a Zon, at least while I'm a poor student!
-I am a band whore, and have been in 3-4 bands since I was 17
-Several of these bands have frustrated the hell out of me so I'm a bit jaded when it comes to music now
-I referee mens hockey for a main part time job (it pays awesome) and I'm a bigtime hockey fan
-have been dating the same girl for almost 4 years, no urge to get married yet but its going very well
-I like beer a little too much and sometimes do really stupid things because of it which I need to stop doing!!
-I love traveling but because of school have been unable to for a while now
-I'm getting really fed up with Edmonton, I just can't stand -30 for 2 weeks straight anymore, and the Oilers aren't helping!
-I hate video games and have never really played them, seems like a waste of time to me.
-I drive a Toyota Matrix now, and want a Honda Ridgeline
-I ****ing love Rush

I vacation out of the country most of the time Europe and South America
Have seen the lines of Nazca look it up, I been to Machu Picchu
Been to Paris and saw all there is to see. The Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, The Mona Lisa, Arc de Triomphe, etc….

I am married to a wonderful woman for 18 years
I have 3 kids 2 boys and a girl 24, 16, 14. One is in college other two in high school
I am a non drinker, non smoker, and use no drugs
I have 8 bass guitars currently
After a back injury took to playing live with no stage amp. (healing a little bit everyday
Play in a Classic Rock Band for the past 8 years
I eat mostly Italian or Peruvian food
I have no pets
I enjoy most sports
I am a NY JETS fan since I was a kid, proof when the likes of Don Maynard, Emerson Boozer, Matt Snell, Jim Tuner were playing in the 1960’s ( notice how I left out Joe Namath ‘cause everyone knows him.) yeah GO JETS

Nice!!! 80's hair metal was invented in NJ:bassist:

Wish I was around for the Jersey Hayday!! I got stuck with the late 90's and early 00's :bawl:. I play in a 80's cover band featuring members of the club circuit from that time.

-have played in almost every type of band
-can do live/record sound ( but that is a thankless job not worth the stress, so I no longer do that )
-won a battle of the bands with a 3 piece original instrumental rock band
-obsessed with NJ, mainly local music and musicians.

Yeah, Voiceless 80's were cool, there were a ton of us trying to hit the golden mark but, everyone respected each other and we all were happy to share the stage. I cut me teeth in some really great places to play back then most in the City, L ‘amours Brooklyn, The Cat Club, The Lime Light, Hammerheads, Maxx’s Kansas City, Zappa’s Brooklyn, NY. A few places in Jersey City were big to play at the time as well Foxes, before it turn it to a night club Escapades, other places Studio one, The Soap Factory, The Dirt club, Wallace’s, Mothers, Connections, The Pipeline before in went underground Punk and Industrial music not to mention all of the great places to play on the Jersey Shore. Philly was a happening place too. We played many clubs in Philly back then as well. We spent a lot of time running up and down 95 and the Parkway. Wdha 105.5 radio station had a slot for local bands and they pushed us out there as well. A appearance on the Uncle Floyd show crazy guy from NJ who had his own cable show. As we grew we started playing bigger venues City Gardens, Trenton Metron, Harrisburg, Pa after a while they all just ran together, and they all looked the same no matter what state you were in! It was fun I was young and doing what I wanted to do but, the road can burn you out real fast so, as they say be careful what you wish for ‘cause you just might get it. You are lucky I remembered the ones I did, but hey I am a bass player and one thing we do have is great memories! Kill me if I forgot anything it was 30 something years ago!

NICE!!! LOL!! I was just talking about Uncle Floyd. I'm his friend on FB!!! My friend's mother was his boss in his early years, and a singer I worked with was on his show. I watched his show as a kid. I've played Connections, and some other places you mention. I've never been to City Gardens, but I've worked the Trenton market and heard about that bar's HeyDay. In the 90's I think it was a hot bed for college altrock/jam bands?

Its funny because I play with people 15-20yrs older then me and I love to hear the stories of the NJ club circuit. A bar on every corner, and bands playing 6 nights a week. Plus I am a fan of a lot of the music from that time, even though some of it is cheese :)

During the late 90's early 00's, I was into the metal/hardcore scene. It was really good back then. Played Stone Pony, Arlene's Grocery, Kenny's Castaway's, Starland Ballroom to name a few. And still to this day I can always find a band. That is what I like about NJ. Everyone and their brother are in a band, even the DeLeo brothers are from NJ:bassist::bassist: And like you said, you could play from the end of Long Island to Philly and even Delaware, all in a few hours drive. And each was a completely different market. Just follow the NJ turnpike.

I go to a new england boarding school and i love it/loathe it at the same time
I played 2 years of football as a defensive tackle and we went 6-2 this season (more than I could've asked for)
I'm going to University of South Carolina this fall.
I've never been in a band.
I lived in Las Vegas for 5 years.
I like Las Vegas more than Rhode Island.
I've lost 20lbs this winter running.
I wish I could made smarter decisions.
I am afraid of growing old.
I wish I could grow a lumberjack beard.
I also think I am slightly crazy but dont tell anyone :ninja:
I dont have a cool car either.

Not only is my right foot almost a whole size larger than my left foot, but I just noticed that my right ear is noticeably larger than my left one....... I gotta grow my hair out.
