A Maths Puzzle...

a repeating decimal is a RATIONAL number.

it is rational because it can be written as the ratio of two integers...

in this case,eg, 999/1000= .999 or 99,999/100,000=.99999

Ahh. Your right! I got confused with nonterminating/ nonrepeating decimals such as pi and "golden ratio". It's been awhile since algebra. :D
