A movie you like that is embarrassing

Just saw a movie last night called "Blue Like Jazz". I would call it an anti-religious movie about being a follower of Jesus. A lot of christians will probably be offended by it but many of us applaud the honest and raw approach this movie takes. Not too many people will see it becasue they might think it is a typical Christian film, but it's not. Probably becuase it's too real for many Christians and others think it's the usual christian film there where about 4 other people in the theatre. And no I am not embarrassed about loving this movie.
Guilty!! I will watch it every time.
I'll admit to one other, as no one else has mentioned it. I absolutely love "Matilda".
What was the name of that girl that played Matilda? She was in everything for minute back in the mid 90s.

Nah, with most of the Oliver Stone stuff it's not history - it's historical fiction.
For my money, hands down, the funniest movie ever made was "The Jerk" with Steve Martin. That's good stuff, there. (followed by a close second is "Young Frankenstien")

13 going on 30, and mean girls. SURE, they are female-lead remakes of Big and Heathers, but the kids liked them, I watched them over and over, and they were juuuuuuust intelligent enough to not make me want to barf.... (and, Mean Girls has Tina Fey in it, meeeeooooowwwww)
"Josie and the Pussycats". A flick probably nobody saw (not even die-hard Archie fans), but it has its charm. I like it because it is basically your cheesy, over-the-top, whole-hearted movie with a "message", featuring three pretty girls and campy bad guys with megalomaniac, conspiratory dreams. It is that great film to see for winding down and for cheap laughs.
Music is pretty much the center of the whole movie, so it is also a plus. And I love the parody of boy bands, they couldn't be more true IMHO! Basically what it lacks in brains, it has in heart. Yeah, sounds corny, I know

I love that film! As much as Miss Congeniality. I can watch both movies tons of times and never get bored.
Here's another one: Honey. It was bundled with my Josie and the Pussycats DVD, and it took me about 6 months after I bought it to actually watch it for the first time ever. Frankly I liked it, despite my (then) dislike for hip hop music and the obviously condescending feely touchy message. It's kinda neat, and cool. And Jessica Alba looks HOT as hell in that movie.
Dang, I feel like I'm giving too much info about the cheesy, campy side of Me.

Babies day out - Joe Montenga gets worked over pretty good by the kid, kind of a modern three stooges type comedy, slightly less violence. Pretty darn funny in spots.
