A movie you like that is embarrassing

That would be the name of the movie sir. My sisters actually pretty nice... Most of the time. :D
Well spoken padawan you are wise beyond your years.

I had an older sister too and boy am I glad we didn't have DVD's and Streaming Video when I was a kid. Otherwise it would have been Annette and Frankie marathons. If you don't know who Annette and Frankie were don't ask. Some thing are best left buried.

Or maybe the title of this thread should be "A thread banner that you find embarrassing." I couldn't figure out how to edit the banner. Maybe some kind hearted mod will take pity on me and correct my spelling in the banner.

hit "edit" and then when it opens hit "go advanced"...you can then edit the title

"The African Queen" with Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn. It's mind of cheesy by today's standards, and it's pretty much a romance story, but it's one of my top 10 favorite movies. Bogart rocks.

That movie is a classic and should be ashamed only if you haven't watched it.

I used to like Nothing Hill but I guess that was because of a girl that I liked back then.:o

I don't think I have a guilty pleasure movie.:hmm:

man, i'm old school all the way....:D

PS--edit- listening to "TIME HAS COME TODAY" by the Chambers Brothers...the only diff between my 57 yo self and my 20, lo these many years ago, is that by 7 in the morning, back then, i would already have smoked a bunch of pot...

Yeah I like your avatar too. It always make me think of the war between Fat Freddy's Cat and the roaches. Maybe I should change my name to F. Fredrickskitty

I still like "Time Has Come Today" But to get the long version on I-Tunes you have to download the whole CD, or should is say the whole album

Okay, I'm coming out and admitting I love "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" starring Don Knotts.

Too Many Ostriches?

Too Many Ostriches!!.mp4 - YouTube

Being 16 and having an older sister, I've seen "Mean Girls" more times than your average 12 year old kid should see...

Ha, Im about to be 28, my exwife 30, and she'd watch that movie every time it was on.

Hey, Im not complaining, I actually liked it.

My girlfriend and I love I <3 Huckabees, but I suspect my roommate thinks it's a chick flick (it's not) and feels ashamed for me.

Thats another great one!

Eraserhead (David Lynch).

My wife, sisters, brothers, & friends think Im a freakin looney-tune.
I march to the beat of a different drummer. :eyebrow:

Eraserhead is a classic! I, too march to the beat of a different drummer. My mother basically admitted a few weeks ago that she's never understood me.

Apparently guys aren't supposed to like Titanic. I think it's a fun and visually stimulating movie. Plus Kate Winslet is my dirty, little secret.

I'll watch an edited version of Titanic anyday. Winslet's breasts followed by the sinking of a giant ship.

I don't think I have a guilty pleasure movie.:hmm:

Theres no reason you should. I'll admit to liking whatever I like, without embarrassment. Im confident enough with who I am that I dont really care if someone thinks I should be embarassed by my tastes.

Of Course there is "Plan 9 from Outer Space" I love that movie, Bela lugosi died during the filming so Ed Wood hired his dentist to play the part. When you see someone looking like a vampire covering up his face with his cape that's Ed Wood's dentist. It's got Vampira and Tor Johnson. How could you go wrong?
Then there is "High School Confidential' where Uncle Fester (Jackie Coogan) plays a drug dealer. Micheal Landon tricking the dealer by shooting up into a rubber ball hiddem in his arm. Jerry Lee Lewis playing piano in the back of a pickup truck. Mamie Van Doren, Russ Tamblin it's a great movie no matter what my friends say.
