A movie you like that is embarrassing

Okay, I'm coming out and admitting I love "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" starring Don Knotts. Every time I watch it I laugh out loud. My wife is starting to worry and my friends are starting an intervention group. I wake up in the middle of the night yelling "That a boy Luther." I have tried to quit slowly by watching "The Incredible Mr Limpet" but that movie makes me want to barf and I start having audio hallucinations of Aunt Bea yelling 'An-deee". Last week I was outside of Hollywood Video pounding on the door after they closed and got arrested for disturbing the peace. They put me in the drunk tank with a guy named Otis until my wife came and bailed me out. The judged ordered me to watch 30 consecutive hours of "Mr. Ed" and gave me 100 hours of community service helping landlords with OCD.
Okay so maybe I exaggareted a little, but I do love that movie. Any movies that alienate you from your friends? "Santa Claus Verses the Martians?" "An Affair to Remember?" "The Horn Blows at Midnight?" "Mothra?"

.....And they used Bon-Ami!!!

Movies like Charlie Wilson's War or anything Oliver Stone made except Natural Born Killers. My friends' eyes glaze over and they start moaning about politics being stupid and I growl at them to shut up and let me watch my movie. It's history - not politics.

Hmmmm........I don't really guess that qualifies as embarrassing......

My girlfriend and I love I <3 Huckabees, but I suspect my roommate thinks it's a chick flick (it's not) and feels ashamed for me.

EDIT: I forgot about Tim And Eric's Billion Dollar Movie. I'm sure some would have me admitted if they knew I like that movie. :hiding:

By the way.....

When I read the thread title....I was ready to respond with....

"I like to wait until the crowd is really rockin' and then jump off the stage with my tongue hanging out while shaking my head like my hair is on fire"....

But I assume the OP meant "Movie".....not move

And I'm a goober for Flash Gordon and Spinal Tap. Whenever they come on tv.......I will do nothing else but watch the movie until it's over.

I'd like to see that move. Spinal Tap? Flash Gordon with soundtrack by Queen. I wouldn't be embarrassed by those movies. Those are great movies

"The African Queen" with Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn. It's mind of cheesy by today's standards, and it's pretty much a romance story, but it's one of my top 10 favorite movies. Bogart rocks.
I'm not embarrassed by any Bogey movie. I love them all. Ever seen "Key Largo?" It's not well known but it's a great movie.

Earnest Saves Christmas....knowwhatimean?
