Do you get to keep the busted one? It looks like a clean break, I'd be willing to bet it could be glued up. It would never be cosmetically 100% but it would probably work fine.

Would be a cool candidate to mod into an 8-string

I got my money back from insurance, though.

I had ordered an Eastwood EB-1 a couple of weeks ago and it finally arrived today. Was very excited to review this and do a head to head against the Gibson LP Jr. Tribute, but that joy was short lived. I noticed mile high action upon taking it out of the gig bag, and then I noticed the damage....

Update: Eastwood has reached out hopefully I'll have a new bass soon.

I’m waiting to hear how Eastwood handles this. I’ve got an eye on one of their basses.

How heartbreaking. I look at the Eastwoods pretty often, love love love those Backlunds. Just more than I’m willing to spend so I just admire from afar.

You have to really love the aesthetics and tone of that thing in order to overcome it's engineering weaknesses / delicacy and request another one. It's not the worst design by any means and I'm sure with proper handling by responsible people it would do fine. Looks like someone went out of their way to stomp on it.
