I had ordered an Eastwood EB-1 a couple of weeks ago and it finally arrived today. Was very excited to review this and do a head to head against the Gibson LP Jr. Tribute, but that joy was short lived. I noticed mile high action upon taking it out of the gig bag, and then I noticed the damage....

I like it a lot. It's a great office amp/practice amp, plus this model has the line out to go into my Focusrite. Definitely helps when recording the bass audio for my videos.

I don't really do amp reviews as I only have 3 amps, this one, a tiny 25 watt orange, and my accugroove/GK stack for gigs. That being said, I'll be happy to do a little featurette on it that and the other gear I use for my reviews in the near future. I like that idea for a video

I'll be curious to see the comparison , I picked up a DC Jr and I'm quite taken with it . Got mine on the blowout sale and mine was one with a dry board and fretsprout . Living in Canada it was going to be misery to return , so I cleaned it up myself . It's a little beauty . They put the pickup in the sweet spot , lightweight , sounds real fine , fun to play . Gigs well . I seriously enjoy the little thing .

Nope! I've been in talks with my vendor and Eastwood. They have a new batch of these coming in, and I'm getting one of those. Should hopefully have it in the next couple of weeks. I have plenty of other instruments to keep me occupied in the meantime

Indeed. I'm 0/2 with eastwood right now. First tried to get an EUB-1, and the one they had was the last one with a neck warped beyond repair. They caught it before sending it out, but I was bummed. Next one was this EB-1 that came with a bad case of a neck ache. Not exactly jumping to buy another one haha.

Watta Bummer.
I own 3 and bought them under crowd funding and had no issues. EB-1, Classic 5 and Backlund Rockerbox.
It's such a shame this happened to tarnish your experience with Eastwood.
