I had ordered an Eastwood EB-1 a couple of weeks ago and it finally arrived today. Was very excited to review this and do a head to head against the Gibson LP Jr. Tribute, but that joy was short lived. I noticed mile high action upon taking it out of the gig bag, and then I noticed the damage....

How was it shipped? Little to no padding? I once bought a cheap Epi EB0 and it arrived with a broken (off) hs. Flimsy cardboard box - no real padding - no surprise. It was sent back with the carrier who delivered it after shooting pics.

Double boxed like every other bass I've received and in a soft case (and was surrounded in light foam on the case too). It's a bummer, but things should sort themselves out.

I've only had shipping issues in the holiday season/period when the system is being overtaxed. It's possible due to this period they have shortages of workers an an overabundance of orders from shut-in people leading to rough handling to meet deadlines.
