Have you ever had a Precision, that you swear it's the slickest, smoothest, and best playing Precision ever? I have that with my Am. Std. Precision. There's no effort in playing it either. Anyone else have that best, of the best Precision?

When I started looking for a good P-Bass a few years ago, I tried as many brands & models as I could get my hands on, and the Fender Am. Std. was my choice too. IMHO, one of the best P-basses there is under $2k.

I've got a '73 P that looks almost exactly like this, except for a spitfire tort guard and no PU cover. It also has a '62RI pickup. Best sounding P I've ever played.

With all these fine Precisions here, are there any amps you play the Precision through, that makes a better sound for your Precision? The Fender Super Bassman / Bassman 410 Neo does it for mine.

For me this 2015 us p is something else ....

I had to sell 3 basses and an amp to fund it, along with saving some cash, but so worth it ...

It is truly a well crafted instrument and I believe it holds some sort of innate magnetic power that has now taken over my life !!!! Lol ...

I've owned an American P, a MIJ Jazz Bass Special PJ, a Lakland Skyline Duck Dunn, and the Lakland Skyline 44-64 Custom seen here, called the Grey Goose. This one is my favorite.
