A solution for Multiple Channels?

First of all, I play out of a BX1200 -> BRX10.4 with no effects whatsoever. Only thing I have between my Bass and my Head is a Tuner.

I have two basses that I switch around when I'm on stage and I'm too lazy to mess with knobs, and it also sucks when you're on a dark stage.

So here's the thing, would it be a good idea to get something like a Sansamp Programmable BDDI so I can switch settings around faster? Or just get a single unit like maybe a Tone Hammer or something and just switch that on for a particular bass I'm using.

Cuz right now, I have my Schecter Studio 5 sounding really good. But when I plug in my Ibanez BTB, it just sounds blah.

Well, any advice/ideas? Thanks.

Lots of options out there. Not sure why you felt it necessary to proclaim "no effects, only a tuner". For switching, the Sansamp programmable is a good choice (you can set it to not be distorted on any channel); also Radial makes several products that would do the job; also Lehle--they are expensive but excellent; also Wobo. And yes, just getting a simple boost, preamp, or EQ pedal for one of the basses is also a perfectly good solution. It really all depends on your budget and aesthetics.
