If you are a girl please leave this thread, as the following subject is very delicate and embarrassing to us men.
The past few years I've noticed that I keep developing holes in my pants, underneath the crotch area--basically at the very center of my pants bottom. I did not know how or why this was happening but I imagined it may have something to do with my inclination towards sitting on rough surfaces; cement steps, and so on...
Recently I discovered why they sell talcum powder in the men's section of the drugstore. I had always wondered about this and just imagined it had something to do with shaving--part of some sort of old fashioned shaving regimen for old men.
Well, as it turns out, men's talc (as opposed to shaving talc) is actually meant to be used as an absorbent, in order to keep your crotch area dry.
I came home from a walk the other day and discovered that there was a large sweat stain on my pants right at the bottom of my crotch, right where I've been developing these holes, so I finally know where this problem is coming from: the "Man Sweats!"
I bought some Johnson's Baby Powder because I couldn't find anything else at my local shop and I used it today for the first time. Unsure of how to apply it, I poured it onto my hands rubbed them together and then rubbed it onto the area. Well, it didn't work and it also made a bit of a mess. I came home from my evening constitutional to find my pants wet exactly where I had applied the powder.
I come to you, brothers, seeking advice. How does one apply the powder for best results, and what other advice can you offer a sufferer of the Man Sweats?
Thanks in advance.
