A very specific Multi effects pedal question

So far so good with the m13. only real beef is the autowah stomp box model is INCREDIBLY sensitive controls wise which leads to difficulty experimenting with different settings due to having to keep going back to fiddling a knob after playing for a second over and over in these tiny little increments X_X. another minor beef is that blooming style synth effects don't seem to initiate their cycle when you switch to them, and controlling when they start via tap tempo feels like i'm playing dance dance revolution. If I'm playing with a click track, my drummer has my effect in his in ears so he knows when to start beat one to match it up this isn't a problem, but that poopie's messy. I was hoping for more of a tap tempo quickly>initiate pedal>right on time scenario. Instead I'll have to start the song with it on for the drummer to hear and know when to set beat 1, with click track in his in ears.

Try setting the looper on pre, playing a loop, and then switching out of the looper without stopping. Then you can tweak while the loop is running and hear how it affects the sound.
