a website that can add note names over a score

I am not the best music reader, so I like to download a score and write the note names over top. Is there a website that does this for me to save some time? I asked chatgpt but they couldnt
I suspect it's going to be a manual process. Your options seem to be 1) print the score and get busy with a soft pencil, i.e. easy and clean to erase in the event of the inevitable mistake. 2) Get a notation program such as MuseScore, enter the notes then use one of the text utilities to add names. For the purposes of illustration, here I've used the 'Add' > 'Text' > 'Lyrics' option since it expects a syllable against every note (and doesn't create any sound on play-back):

By writing the notes in with a pencil, you’ll be improving your note recognition at the same time. I think you’ll be surprised at how little time it will be before you don’t need to write the note names in anymore. As has been mentioned, the time looking for software to do it for you, then learning the software, will probably take you the same amount of writing the note names in. But, you won’t be learning to read.

Just my opinion, but I don't think writing note names in will help you learn you read better. You'll be reading the note names and not the positions on the stave. A bit like how if I use GPS to find a place, then I never learn how to get there without GPS, unless I make a point of actually learning the route.

Now if you have gigs coming up where you have to read, and you don't have time to improve your reading enough for the gig, then sure, do what you have to do make a good job of the gig.

But I'm not convinced that this idea of 'I'll put the note names in until I don't need them anymore' is really a thing. You'll always need them until you take them away and force yourself to read the stave.

Unless you're not really bothered about improving your reading, which is fine too, in which case, go ahead.
