I love Status basses, but they're not cheap and it would be unfair to directly compare something that has cost you about £195 in our money to a bass like my S2 that cost me £1600 new. :eek:

That said Bill, your S2 is the don. I've still got the email you sent me with the pictures of it in-oh dear! :bassist:

I quite like the Washburn Status basses, they are good basses if you want a cheap headless bass, but as has been said, they are nowhere near the quality of true Status basses. I was at one point considering getting one, but I thought I'd better just hold my horses and go for a real Status in future!

As it is, I'm sorry to hear about all the trouble you're having with the bass, it must suck to be mis-sold something like that! At least when you get it back you can dig out True Colours and World Machine and star working on those lines.
