Can anyone help identify this bass? I'm thinking of buying it for practicing. It says "Academy" on the body. $45 locally. The guy says he bought it in Spain. I don't expect much out of it, but I like to know as much as I can about any instrument I buy. I'm pretty good at searching on Google and can't find much at all about the brand Academy. Just a few references to 6-string electrics on Ultimate Guitar...
It looks similar to the newer Rogue basses with the black covered pickups, but this one only has three knobs instead of 4 like the Rogues. I have a similar Exquisite IB bass, so I could also use it for parts eventually if I need them.
