Accugoove Cabs, Mark Wright and Mike Fredericks

I want to say a few things about both these guys, the cabs and to vouche for Mark and Mike on this whole thing... ...Bottomline in all of this is that I can't say enough about both of these guys. They are both very modest about their skills, what they do and are both kind souls. I am proud to know both of them.
Fine post Mike. When it's all said and done, our time on this earth is about the relationships we make and how we treat each other. Please let Mike Fredericks that he continues to be in our prayers.

Well, I've only met Mike F. personally once, but have comm'd with him many times and I can say I consider him to be a very good personal friend. Humble, kind, and very accomplished as a musician.

I've only owned a couple AG cabs, but have nothing but accolades for Mark. One of the AG cabs I had was a Tri-112L. I bought it used and it had several cracked corners on it, and I noticed that a couple corners looked just as scuffed, but not broken, and that they were a slightly different type. I called Mark and he said their supplier switched OEM's on them without changing their part number, and Mark ended up with some corners that turned out not to be quite as nice.

Well, he sent me a complete new set of 8 corners free of charge and didn't even ask for postage even before I could ask him for a price (remember, I bought it used!).

Mike W., if I had my prefs for an AG stack, I'd use a pair of Tri-112L cabs. Circumstances led me a different direction, but I LOVED my Tri-112L. It's my absolute favorite AG cab. Sounded GREAT with all the amps I tried with it... Aggie 500, Eden 330, TFB 550B, EBS HD350, etc. etc. etc..

I've known Mark Wright for a while and yes he is one of the most down to earth people I have ever encountered and always giving with truth and a sincere caring for others.Mark is the same person today that he was when I first met him years ago and that is so rare today.

Mark if you're reading this?I have nothing but mad love and respect for you and I appreciate you just being true to who you are.

I went through a dealer to purchase my Whappo Jr cabinet. Prior to making the purchase I had several email correspondences with Mark, and he was gracious to answer every question, and then he followed up with me after the purchase with another email to see how I liked it. Mark is one of the nicest people I have ever met.

By the way all this happened after I had researched Accugroove, and read about the 'switch' issue. I still felt that AG had went to the end of the Earth to make everything right. People make mistakes, and I like everyone else on this forum am a person. My Accugroove cabinet is the best cabinet on earth.

God bless BigMikeW for starting Mike Frederick's fund. Had he not I wouldn't have had the oppurtunity to contribute which was a blessing for me in it's own right. God Bless MikeF for touching everyones life through his music & compassion, and lastly God Bless Mark & everyone @ AG for for making some kickin' cabinets, and caring for each customer.

:)

I just picked up a Whappo, Jr. Killer sound with an Aguilar Ag-500 and my Glockenklang head. I've never heard my basses sound better! Now, my playing is a different story.

Anyway, the cab does just what Mark says it does.

I'm sure Mark is a great guy.... but I hope Mike gets back on his feet so he can get his Epi's back:cool:

.... just tweeking the lovefest a little bit. They are nice cabs.

Ya know what Ken, I don't think I want them back after a few gig on these things!

These cabs do what we say Sadowsky's do.
Sound pretty good alone in a shop/house etc...but on the gig.....Oh my is it something COMPLETLY different.

They came alive.
