Has anyone else seen this? It looks awesome to me. Although that may not be saying much because I’m immediately attracted to anything that says “Beatles in a box” or “McCartney tones”.

Apparently it’s meticulously modeled after the Vox UL730 amps that were used by the Beatles for Revolver and Sgt Pepper. According to the Aclam website, they used their own UL730 as the basis for their pedal version.

The artwork was done by Klaus Voorman as well! That’s amazing.

A steep price for sure. But it’s a great idea, it looks awesome and it sounds good too. Maybe I’ll have to sell a few pedals and give this one a go.

my Dr Robert arrived yesterday and i'm diggin' it.
here's a quick soundclip of it with my 1969 P bass with flats thru my Fender Super Twin head 215 cab. the first part is bypassed, then with various drive settings, from clean to heavy dirt:

Thanks for posting. Have you formed any solid opinions on it vs the Jext Telez yet?

Sounds awesome! Did some of those clips use the boost switch?
How does it feel build quality wise?

yeah, near the end the boost was engaged a couple of times. the boost cuts a bit of low end and brings out the mids. the mid control also affects the drive in both modes. I think that the build quality is excellent.

How’s the low end retention? Does it hang on to the lows at high drive settings? (Sorry for all the questions, haha)

Resurrecting an old thread but figured this was the likely audience for this question.

Did anyone jump on the recent follow-on pedal from Aclam “The Mocker” which is the fuzz circuit from the Vox UL730 amp? It was a limited run of 200 using NOS diodes they found that matched the original amp. They sold out quickly and are now showing up on reverb which a bit of a markup. Aclam recently posted on their Instagram that they are looking for ways to create more.

I’m curious if anyone snagged one and if so how it sounds on bass. So far all the videos I’ve seen are with guitars.

I purchased the Joy Divison version, it sounds so sweet
