ACME B1 - with a second cab?

Wear it like a badge of honor.

I'd stick with the Demeter head. I used a Demeter preamp with my B-4's and it sounded really hi-fi...almost too much given the project at hand.

Hey...no more old man slams. Bassman Paul and I are older and still knocking around a handful of B-2 enclosures like we're still teenagers. Of course, we need naps later...Aleve...Ben Gay...etc.

:D What made you pick B-2's over the 212 which is only 10 lbs more and goes lower?

The time / space continuum: I bought a pair of used B-2's from Doug / dcr well before the new Acmes were introduced. Before that, I had a pair of B-4's which became overkill over time...they got heavier over time or so it seems.

I loved my B4 when I played in a country band. Still miss it. Don't see them much anymore, not even in the classifieds.

Riis, you too are a wuss!!! :D

Local TB'er bought both of them. Here he is giving the enclosures a test drive.

Kept the B-2 stack and added two Epifani 3 X 10's (48 lbs each!).
