Acoustic 136 .. What's it worth?

I'm partial to the acoustics sound. I use it with an EVm 12 and a 15 and it takes care of small/medium gigs where we aren't using FOH with guitar and bass. My 136 is just the head divorced from it's very huge and heavy cabinet and speaker. It is in a case as the 140 and 150 bass heads were. I have a 140 as backup and an earlier 136 as well.

I am not familiar with that particular Peavey. I posted about the acoustic below. They are usually pretty cheap on FB marketplace or Reverb.

How do you think an Acoustic 136 would sound compared to my Peavey TNT 130 Black Widow amp? I have a chance to pick a nice one up for a decent price. Any advice?

Just note that some parts for the Acoustic amps are becoming unobtanium, factor that risk into your valuation.

I used to own one and I wouldn't give a dime for it, but there's no accounting for taste. From comments here someone will be nuts enough to spend $300 for this fart machine, but it sure won't be me.

I just noted that the original question is from 2015; my bad. I still wouldn't spend a dime on it, though. In fact, this thing turns up in my nightmares when I dream about backlined gigs.

TNT has a tweeter, 136 doesn’t. Otherwise they aren’t far off from each other as far as I can remember.

That is a TNT 130 in my avatar. They do not use a tweeter but they do offer a nice built-in compression.
