Acoustic 370 and a proper cab match....

Curious to know what is advised as a match for the 370
not interested in the 371 dual 18" cab or anything even remotely that big...

Speaker needs to really celebrate the sound of the 370!

I've hooked mine up to many different cabs. They have all sounded good. 810, 410, 215 and then I got a 301. It's one rear facing 18 and man that's where it's at. But if you want something smaller just get a good single 15 or 212.

Not that I am an expert, but I have heard many times that Acoustic amps like Acoustic cabs best.
The 370 and 371 are made for each other.
Maybe you'd be OK with a 106, but that isn't real small either.

Had the 370/301 + another Vega 18 cab long ago.....it's a single 18 on the original 301 cab.

I use an ampeg heritage 4 10 with mine and a mesa powerhouse 1000 (410+115). It likes the ampeg best but it sounds great with both.

I use an avatar b210 and a b212 together. I don't buy all the "mixed driver" hullabaloo posted on this site. I also use the b210 with an avatar b410. crisp, clear, and loud. good hunting!

I used a 2x15 back in the day
It really wants to see a low impedance cabinet if you want loud and clear.
There is a common misconception that these amps made lots of clean power.
They are 375 watts at 2 ohms and I believe about 1/2 of that at 4 ohms.
Cool though!

When I had my 370 I paired it with an Acoustic 106 215 cab... sounded good.

If the 370 is healthy, any quality 4 Ohm cab should do. That should give you plenty of power for most any band and leave you the option of a second 4 Ohm cab if you need all the power that 370 has to offer. IME, the 370 sounds really nice with an Ampeg 8x10 but even better when paired with Acoustic Control Corp. cabinets.

Dually or Dually T. They are worth the money. As it happens I had a custom Dually built for me using Faital Pro 15PR400 4 ohms speakers. I had an extra switch to change from 2 ohm to 8 ohm. And that 370 really opened up at 2 ohms. WOW!!!

yeah it's capable of running two 301 bins. with original 3 ohm drivers it stable down to almost 1ohm. I don't like risking vintage transistors but it can do it.
