Double Bass Acoustic A1000

FWIW I have a Fishman Loudbox Mini and it works surprisingly well for double bass (I use a Fishman Full Circle pickup). I don't know if I'd use it in a large group with a drummer, but in an acoustic duo it sounded fine and since I also sing I was able to plug my vocal mic into the other channel.

That is really interesting. Did you send a signal to a PA or anything? I’ve been having issues sending the signal to a PA system. The band all uses in ear monitors but I hate them plus they use them instead of amplifiers even the guitar player. I just need to have my bass amp right there behind me. And using the vocal in the other Channel works great as a monitor. I borrowed one of these.One-8 A.I. Combo - Raezer's Edge
With the Clarus head . Problem is it only has one balanced out for both channels.
I guess I’ll probably start a new thread for in-ear-monitors. I’m not sure any bass players use them?

I didn't send the signal to the PA because in this setting the Loudbox Mini was the PA. I've never used in-ear monitors, but I have friends who play in larger/louder bands that do.
