Acoustic is BACK!!!!

:hyper:Greetings! The mighty Acoustic Corporation who gave us the 360, 370 and 320 rigs of the 60s are BACK! They have a 200 watt head and a 410 and a 115 cab and also combos. Im wondering how a 200 watt @ 4 ohms head can power a 400 watt @ 8 ohms cab? Anyone checked these out yet? Great prices also $249 for the head,$299 for the 410 cab and $199 for the 115 cab. All input welcome. heres the site www.acousticamplification.com

I just snagged the little 20-watt 1x12 combo and it crushes....for a 20-watt amp that is. I ran my Flea 4 through it and I was amazed. I grabbed it on my way to a rehearsal last night and it performed perfectly. I am really impressed with this stuff. Who knows, I may pickup the head and 4x10. I was very surprised at the volume and sound this put out. I plan on doing a review in the next few days.
Peace,
Chris

I Like the 1x12 20 watt combo as well tried one at GC best bang for buck practice amp with pretty decent tone IMO, And that is saying a lot> I tried a whole bunch of small practice amps and they all sounded crappy IMO, I just may pick one up myself for working on tunes or small living room jams with friends another nice feature is it has a headphone jack for silent practice and I believe you can hook a cd player or mp3 player to it and play along with your favorite music. NO experience with there bigger stuff though.

I believe that there have been other threads about this but at the risk of repeating ourselves.

1. They also have a 4x10 and 1x15 cabinet to match.

2. These combos as well as the 200 watt head and the cabinets are made in China.

3. There are plans for the release of high end reproduction of the 360 w/ some 'improvements'. These are to be made here in the U.S. and the company apparently includes some of the original designers of the Acoustic line.

I played the head w/a 4-10 cab in a local guitar center for over an hour with just about every bass they had on the wall that I even thought I might like. It totally rocked! I kept expecting someone to tell me to turn it down but it was like 2:00 on a thursday afternoon so the place was dead. They just left me alone to play till I had to go back to work. If I'd had the spare cash and space in my car I'd have bought it on the spot.

Wow, I have 2, 2x12 cabs made by acoustic and I can't find any info on it, not even this site, I found them in the dump a few weeks ago. Each has 2 tweeters and a horn...I think. Both had nameless speakers in it, but one of the cabs actually had a Rockford Fosgate in it. There was a metallic plate on the back with a serial number on it, but it looked like someone scratched out the numbers on purpose.

I don't see the model on the site. Does anyone have any information on it, like how much it costs? Is it worth investing in a head for it? It didn't have a head, and if it did, it's not here. Here's a pic of them stacked on top of each other, don't mind the mess...

I think I'll take better pics later on tonight.
