Acoustic's At It Again!

I didn't know Acoustic from a hole in the ground. I was in the market for a nice affordable stack, sexy, sound nice and inexpensive. I walked into GC the day they were setting up the Acoustic display and well...

You lucky, lucky man.
I started this thread out of pure vicarious GAS; I live in a 2 1/2 room apartment, which I share with two cats (who don't do anything to help pay the rent OR keep the place clean).

If I had the space, I'd have 2 B200Hs and 4 B115 cabs.

Sniff.

Don't feel to bad. I can barely turn this thing up. It sits in my basement and at about 4-6 on vol knob its shaking my house, knocking things down. I have yet to open that amp wide. And, put those two tabbies to work, heck we're in a recession yuh know, tell'em only chicks ride for free:D

I'm trying to get them to enroll in cat-food commercial acting school so they can maybe bring in a little dough... they keep falling asleep whenever I bring up the topic.

Well I've got 3 gigs next week. An outdoor festival, a big club on the beach and a wedding. Should be a great shake down for the 200H.

AHHH, YEAH!
Looking forward to your detailed recounting of aural damage inflicted!

Hats off to Oberion!

(and all other Acousticians here). Good news, I "bought" the same rig you've shown here and even just had to add another B200H head. Bad news, but not really, it's still on layaway. Why? Because I actually tried it out and heard it for myself. That's all it took. It was a serious tonal flashback moment for me and I put money down the very next damn day. I've been back many times, just to be sure and it's still the same, absolutely amazing. Yeah, I'm "jonesin" (yeah! JPJ!) to get my rig home someday in the near future :hyper: But I know when I do it's goin' to be even awesomer. Was I skeptical? You betchya. Did I have many of the same thoughts that many have stated here about the who's, the whats and the hows of how this "Acoustic" thing could be for real. Yep, that too. But beyond all of that I tried it with my own ears and that my friends is all it took for me to buy in pretty heavy. All I gotta say to those who remain skeptical is make sure the folks at GC set you up with some decent instrument and speaker cords, pick out or take your own bass of your choices and try these puppies out. Maybe it's not for you but it sure was for me, hell, now I'm all curious about the new B600H (about $499.00, 450W at 4 Ohm, 600W at 2 Ohm) DAMN YO! I mean have you heard the B200H ACOUSTIC Watts as opposed to some of the others? I can't even imagine :cool:and my guess is, more cabinet types, that should be coming out in fall sometime.

Thanks again All,

Play on!:bassist:

Well the outdoor show came and went and was a lot of fun. I kept walking the the far side of the stage to see I could hear my amp and it was really solid.

The combo of the 200h and my two Avatar Neo 210's really realy kicked. The amp was so loud in my space i wanted to turn it down.
