I'm planning to make my bass active with passive bass tone. Just want some confirmation if my wiring is good or not.
Here is the wiring:
Both pickups (dual coil) will be wired parallel to 500k ohm resistors to roll off some highs. Then these pickups will go through 2 way switch for coil splitting. Next, the 2 wires from the switch will go into dual channel buffer which then sums up at the blend pot and enters into the volume pot.
Has anyone done something similar to this?
