Active short scale basses

I bought a SBMM Stingray short-scale bass and replaced the stock electronics with an EMG MMTW. I used a router to extend the control cavity and add a battery compartment on the back. IMHO it sounds way better and is much more versatile than the original.
If I had those skills and a router, I'd do that too :) .

I have a MM and an SBMM Stingray. Love them both, but would turn the SBMM into an active in a heartbeat if I thought I could do it.
