Really? "Ask any America"? I'm an American and I can name many Thin Lizzy songs:

"Emerald"
"Jailbreak"
"Warriors"
"Romeo and The Lonely Girl"
"Cowboy Song" (My personal favorite)
"Honesty is No Excuse"
"Brought Down"

Shade of Blue Orphanage is a great album.

I could keep going.

And I was reading imported copies of the NME back in the 70's, so I knew a lot of punk era bands that nobody in the US heard of. So what? American radio gave Thin Lizzy as much air time as Brownsville Station, from what I remember.

i understand the point about thin lizzy, they aren't a one hit wonder, but are a lot bigger in the uk/europe. they are not as "appreciated" here. most rock fans/musicians dig some thin lizzy though. boys are back in town, jailbreak, cowboy song all get airplay on classic rock radio.
