Acts that should have been bigger in the U.S.

I'd say Badfinger was as big as they deserved to be. Most people know all their songs that are worth anything ( Many penned by Beatles).

man, i'm normally with you floyd, but now i'm hurt. i'll recover somehow:D....just let me plead my case!

they wrote without you and it has since been recorded over 180 times. most people tend to think harry nilsson did that one.

no matter what was written by ham/evans.

baby blue was written by ham.

day after day was written by ham, harrison played some slide guitar on that track.

ok, i'm over it. i've had my coffee and gotten this outta my system!:smug:

have a good one floyd!

I liked Badfinger. A lot actually. So did a lot of other people. Most Beatle fans are also Badfinger fans.

Shame how it all turned out.

+1 for Primus

Pushmonkey... I think they did Ozzfest in 97 or 98. I seen em there for the first time and really liked what I heard. I picked up their album and I still listen to it this day. I think they only had one album. Lyrically and musically awesome. Good players.

if i may speak for floyd, what i think he meant, and what i took it as, was that most beatles fans who knew of badfinger like them. they are definitely influenced by them and had some songwriting credits on there as well. i believe badfinger were the first (or one of the first) acts to record on the apple label as well.

however, you support my opinion that badfinger should have been more popular.
