Adrian Garcia

Dear A
God is alive, and he is active, you know i know, I still believe in miracle and i believe in his healing. Bro.I beg my Lord, to lay his miracle healing hand on you. And no evil can distract your focus on to him, and may Lord bless your wife and family bless you will joy and happiness from heaven, for every single second in life.

Adrian, you are in my prayers, bro. Never give up. Back in 2001, my sister had just completed radiation therapy for breast cancer when she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. She endured two major surgeries and several rounds of chemo. The doctors that were treating her eventually claimed to have exhausted all options and told her to prepare for the worst. We contacted The Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston www.dana-farber.org They had access to newer types of chemo that weren't readily available elsewhere. The treatment they gave her allowed her to live an additional year with a relatively high quality of life. Unfortunately, she finally passed away at age 47, but if she hadn't gone for that second opinion, she never would have had that extra year.

Adrian- it's not the end. You can also come out here to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, http://www.mdanderson.org/ You can check it out online as well. Whatever choice you make, we all stand by you...you're an inspiration to many, and you're the Lord's child, He'll call for you in His time, not a doctor's time. Remain prayerful, strong, and fight like you've never fought before, and you may yet beat this. There are all kinds of new treatment options available now that weren't around even a couple years ago, including proton therapy, which we have here. M.D.Anderson is a pioneer in the oncology field, they have the best of everything.

If you do come out here, I know the best Thai restaurant I have ever eaten at, and would be honored if you'd let me take you there!

Stay strong!
Eric

Adrian,
keep fighting, and what's even more important, keep living, enjoy every minute you spend with your beloved ones/doing what you love and never lose your hope. I know a guy who was given 6 months more...it took him 20 years to live those 6 months and kiss this world goodbye. The good part for him was that since he was only going to live for another 6 months he lived those 40 "6 months" as if they were the last, and enjoyed this life more than anybody else that I've ever known.

our love

Adrian,
God is good!! He holds it all in His Hands. He even let those hands be pierced for you and me.

I'm so thankful for those here who have referred you to other clinics and hospitals. Check them out! Also, have you looked into Cancer Treatment Centers of America? Oncology...AND CHRISTIAN!! See if that's an option for you.

You're darn right we're prayin' for you! There's a whole choir of bassists prayin' for you -- and many of them can't even sing!;)

God is good my brother! Fight ALL the good fights!!

Adrian
Prayers, love and best wishes your way.
You've been such an inspiration to the countless many who've marveled at your playing, grown by your sage advise on all things Bass, and been touched by your positive nature in the face of adversity.

So many of us have been newly tested, in response to your plight. -Saving some along the way, I'm sure.
Adrian, you'll probably never know of the multitude who've been saved, literally & figuratively, by your noble struggle and unwavering faith. Just by being, you've contributed so much Positive Karma, along the way. Ministries come in some suprising ways...perhaps you've found yours.
I think your cup runeth over.

You've exhibited amazing courage...grace under pressure.
All good things to you, Adrian.
You & your family are in our thoughts & prayers.
-Bill

Yes get a second opinion...third even. I work at the Mayo Clinic here in Rochester Minnesota along with my wife. I hear and see miracles everyday. Sometimes the miracle is just that we/the clinic/Dr's are giving them a chance if not getting them years or life. Every month is precious and those turn into years.

I have an offer for you. You need a place to crash. Email, PM me call. I will give you and the Mrs. a room to stay in. I Can set you up with the lower half of our house to stay in (bathroom, bedroom etc). It wont save to much money but it sure beats a motel room. When your better you can give a lesson. ;)

Get other opinions and go to places where miracles happen.
I have heard of cases of people getting liver transplants when it was inoperable. Not sure if that was looked into.

Most patients can get all of their appointments in a week or two. If they proceed with treatment there are dozens of long term housing places for family and patients(when out patient). Miracles do happen and please consider it.

met with the surgeon today. I knew the chances of getting great news were slim, i have seen my scans. Bottom line is my liver is inoperable, so we continue with chemo. Hard to take because of my beautiful Kimberly, who is my happiness and joy and I hate to think about leaving here, but he sat there and discussed how death can come since what I have is pretty much incurable and a matter of time. weird way to live life. Impossible to plan for a future. I remain blessed by God in many ways... kind of in a funk right now, but I will climb out of it, I'm sure. I keep praying...
funny, I'm not so afraid to die, I hurt for my loved ones who have to witness what is going on.. God is my refuge.

Adrian,

One thing you have proven is that you faith and trust in God is strong, and we both know that with God all things are possible. I personally have not forgotten you in my prayers, but I will have the prayer team and congregation keep you, as well as Kimberly and the rest of your family in prayer.
Expect a call from me.
