Three of the world's religions believe in the same origin of earth and man. Jewish, Christian, and Islam. The Jewish religion has maintained the old testament as the only document "written" by God and augment the Old Testament with Talmud, Mishna, and a flock of other writings by man.

Christianity takes the old Testament and augments it with the new Testament, different beliefs in the "Messiah" concept and what our purpose in life on earth/what happens when we die in its writings. Islam doesn't admit believe in the old Testament, but Ibriham is their "Father", and he is the same Abraham of the Jewish Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the three Forefathers.

We're one big family any way we cut it and hopefully we as a bass playing loving community will continue to blessed with bro's like Adrian.

To your continued recovery Adrian and whatever mysteries of faith helped you through your ordeal.

Just a little background.

In a perfect world, we would have set up a trust and had a charitable organization with a determination letter from the IRS. However, we just wanted to get things moving. I'm an accountant by profession, and I know how these things can sometimes get hung up in administration. Momentum can be important in these campaigns.

I registered Invalid Link Removed , threw together a web page, and spammed the Music Player Forum and my band's website and mailing list.

It was supposed to be a little thing for some of the folks that I have personal (as personal as the internet gets) relationships with to funnel money to Adrian. It has gotten bigger than intended. I have received about $2,300 in donations via Paypal and one check of $100. The amount of trust people have placed on me is surprising; most don't know me from Adam and they are sending me anywhere from $5 to $200 via Paypal. That says a lot for the type of community you can develop on the internet and the amount of love people have for Adrian; most of these people have never met Adrian in person (myself included).
