Just got them off two weeks ago after 23 months [supposed to be 18 months] and I will tell you my mouth felt liberated until last week I got my retainer - a platic clear deal that covers all your teeth - ouch, pain like I never had with the braces. Worst part of it all - I had braces when i was a kid and did not fully wear my retainer so this is the second time around!
