It's awesome.I'm trying to picture this....
Lol, rite? Being sober is another one that people get weird around sometimes too.
Tbh I just want to make angry music,
I think it settles into some nice aged cynicism and sadness later on.
Thanks for this quote! So true.I always play stone cold sober. Some people feel offended by that. Go figure. Must have to do with something Mark Twain pointed out long ago:
“Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyance of a good example.”
Okay, I call "Glacially Sardonic" as my new stage name.Ain’t it the truth. I always play stone cold sober. Some people feel offended by that. Go figure. Must have to do with something Mark Twain pointed out long ago:

I’m not in it for anything other than the music. Mine isn’t angry however. Glacially sardonic was about the best I could ever manage. And only if I were going through a particularly bad time.
Not necessarily. One of the surprising lessons that comes with aging is you eventually learn to be kind.![]()

Yep, it's a thing...I've even witnessed it outside of band settings in the professional workplace. It's not that uncommon for band members wives to not want a female in their husbands band. I've had to deal with it. Broke up one band because if it actually.
Just move on to a more adult situation!
I'm glad my spouse isn't like that. It's not that uncommon for band members wives to not want a female in their husbands band. I've had to deal with it. Broke up one band because if it actually.
I'm glad my spouse isn't like that.
Me too. Glad my SO isn’t either.
But she has complete confidence in herself and our relationship. As do I.
I happen to like redheads. I make no excuses or apologies for it. I find them highly interesting women for the most part. Somebody once asked my SO how she felt about that. She said she was fine with it, and went on to say that if she spotted a particularly good example of the breed she’d often point her out to me because: “He’s off in his own little world half the time and probably wouldn’t notice a truck if it hit him.”
My lady! She knows me.![]()
That's exactly what my wife does, and for exactly the same reason. Dazed and confused for the win?
You betcha!![]()
Mine often has to point out and help when someone is hitting on me because I flat out won't pick up on it or be aware of it like ever.
I'm a little dense...
Mine does that too, except none of the people who she says are hitting on me are actually hitting on me.Mine often has to point out and help when someone is hitting on me because I flat out won't pick up on it or be aware of it like ever.

Oh geeze.... I bet. Glad it worked out!! Similar story here. I was not the motivating force when we got together and infact I was pretty oblivious to it for a few months.Same here. If my SO didn’t make the initial overture it would have never happened. But she (being her) already knew that and shifted gears on the fly.
She was an impressive empath at 14. She’s become considerably more of one in the time between then and now. A Master’s in experimental psych didn’t hurt matters either.![]()

Meanwhile I have the emotional depth of a sea cucumber and it takes me a while to figure out how I feel much less how to talk about it.
