Hello, I am new here so excuse me if I have posted into wrong section. I am about to buy my first 5-string and I cant decide which one of these should I pick up. Anyone can help me please?

Can you fix the links? And, say a little more about how you ended up on these three?

I'm figuring the top link is an Ibanez SR305 and the bottom a Yamaha RBX-375. Choosing between those two I'd pick the Yamaha. I have no idea what the middle link was supposed to be.

And well...I was just browsing the website of my local music store and these 3 looked like the best option.

The nut width on that Squier is 2", I think. It is way too wide for my personal comfort level. I play mostly 5 strings, but they pretty much all have 1 3/4" nut width.

If possible, play all 3 & go w/the one that *grabs* you/feels best. IMO/IME they're all decent quality. I also like narrower nut widths, but that's just personal pref- some play better w/wide spacing.

Edit: The 35" scale(if I'm not mistaken)of the Yamaha would knock it out for me- I very much prefer 34". Again- personal preference, not a good/bad thing.

Anyway, I've ordered bass guitars I immediately didn't bond with at all, or then bonded immediately. So ordering on-line is a hit and miss game.

The Yamaha RBX 375 is the best £300ish Bass i've ever invested in. Everyone who i've let try it out thought it was worth at least £600!! i raised the pickups on mine though, they were a little bit low. It came very well set up too.

Id go with the Ibanez myself. Better bass imo.
