AERODYNE - PICKUP CHANGE

I'm not happy with the pups in my MIJ export Aerodyne Jazz and was considering the EMG PJX set for a replacement.

Anybody have any experience doing this?
Opinions (positive or negative) are welcome -

Any other recommendations?

I need clarity + PUNCH for Classic + Modern Rock Band.

I would look into the Delano JMVC-4FE/M2 and the PMVC-4FE/M2 for clarity and punch.

I've done this. You'll need to route out a little bit of wood for the pickup jack and for the battery. The PX soundS great but I think the JX wasn't designed for such a curved radius. I'd avoid the EMG's and go with something that can match the 7.25" radius. Tis a bummer cause I really like how the pickups sound but the volume difference between the E/G and the A/D strings is kinda noticeable.

I threw DiMarzio Model P/Js in mine - love 'em. Easy as pie to do, too - no extra routing or anything like that.

Fender 62' Original P pickup and Fender Super 55 Jazz would be my choice.

I put "Chunger "designed Nordy's in mine. love them. PM Chunger about the design or Nordstrand has records of what they built for him. Got them in my P bass too

I swapped out the entire electronics in my aerodyne.
I put in SD SPB-3 and a SD SJB-3 and CTS 500k minis and it sounds as good as ANY bass I have EVER heard.
