Aesthetic Elements That Put You Off From Purchasing Gear

I'm an Ibanez fan,....The Talman bass.People rave about it.Great price, plays great,etc....Over all,I really like the looks of it,but ever since the thing came out all I see are those tuners. Two close together, the other two far apart....Maybe put the G closer the D?

I had one of these I miss it so so much… left handed of these has been out of stock everywhere
I can’t believe I never really noticed the tuners being like that… I think the offset body made my eyes over look the offset tuners who knows?

Pink anything. nothing yellow, purple, or sparkly anything , no pearloid pickguards, cabs with 18s or 15s, skinny nutted JBs from the early 70s, right now any basses from the 60s or 70s until sanity prevails, drop D tuners, flat wound and heavy gauge strings, bass mutes, effect pedals (exception for compressors), cheap instrument stands, skinny straps, smooth leather straps, nothing looking like it was abused in areas not likely to be abused in the course of normal wear and tear, ear plugs (ear filters offer much better protection), amps with baked in sound you can’t get rid of, inefficient cabs, cabs that are not full range, no tweeters, amps with minimal midrange control, amps without pre-effect XLR out, tuner out, and headphone outs, no sealed cabs, no cabs or amps with strap handles, especially in weird locations, overly modified basses, cabs without the OEM speakers, and finally, anything with mold on it.

Other than that, I’m game for anything..LOL!
What are ear filters please

In my case, it's more about what I DO like. I like natural (ish) or 3TSB finishes. Maple fingerboards, but I'll accept rosewood. Fender shapes.

I HATE everything else. :D

No one has mentioned my pet peeve yet: Lakland's oval shaped bridges. Great basses, hate that look. While I'm at it I'll throw in those oval Delano pickups too! Yuck!

Some headstock shapes might be a deal breaker (especially random chomps out of them and added blobs to keep Fender's lawyers away from the door). Don't mind G & L at all but some of the newer high end basses... hmmm...

And silly pointy heavy metal shapes would be a complete no-no for me too.

And Bongos...

Agree 100%, those ovals annoy me.

They are Ear Buds, but filters out decibels on a more even frequency basis, so music sounds natural rather than muffled. Also, the amount of dBs cut can be as much a 25 dBs These can be custom fit by an audiologist (highly recommended for maximum protection) or you can get them over the counter at GC, or oiline at Sweetwater or AirTurn. Give Erasers a call and talk to a customer service rep to get the skinny. Check them out. You only get one set of ears. Protect them. Call now.
