After a hiatus I bought a Fender Rumble 40.

I "retired" from playing after a quadruple bypass a while back. Along with that my knees are bad and I now battle osteoarthritis in my lower back. I sold or gave away most of my stuff with the exception of the bass in the pic.

I'm pretty happy with the tone (lots of options.)
Its lower and louder than I imagined.
Its really light (18lbs.) and easy to move around.
I would swapped the drive circuit for an onboard tuner.
I don't think it's capable of hanging with a loud club band but would be cool with an acoustic or jazz group.

I got it for 224.00 shipped. I believe it's well worth it.

It is good for a jazz gig!
I use one weekly with upright at a jazz gig at a bar and also at a one-off big band gig in a theatre for Glenn Miller style pieces. Works a treat if the drummer and band are well behaved.
Admittedly, I'm not after massive low end for these styles.

I have played several of the Rumble line and really like them, which is why when it came time to get a lightweight gigging amp, I went with the Rumble 500 combo. It does absolutely everything I need it to do and then some! Great little amps!
