After one gig, I think I'm done. Advice? (Long winded post warning)

Don't bite the hand that feeds you! Jeeze, haven't they ever heard that! The slanderous reveiw was uncalled for and rude, but can be worked past! Also, maybe you should ask why your girlfriend won't come and try to work it out!

I would never censor my girlfriend like that. That is way too controlling of a solution and what right have you got to insist she keep her opinion to herself.

I would never order my partner not to voice her opinion because that's controlling. However, boundaries need to be respected, and I've seen too many significant others stick their noses in where it doesn't belong. It's akin to showing up to your partner's place of work and trying to run the show.

True. But when those boundaries aren't respected (which seems quite common on the bar/hobby muso scene), its useful to be in the company of people (read "leaders") who understand how respect and boundaries work in order to smooth such situations out amicably, without attributing blame (or outcomes) to the wrong people.

Of course the flipside of that is, having found yourself in such company, the issues wouldn't need dealing with in the first place, would they? ;)
