After pickguard ideas for Red Ibanez Mezzo

Hi all
Finally got my Ibanez Mezzo where I want it tonally by upgrading the pickups and electronics but one thing that has always bugged me is the super cheap looking white pearloid pickguard.

I was going to just have a black one made but the bass itself is such a nice colour that it seems a shame to have something so plain so am after some ideas on what would work well with the colour as I am a bit stumped,
any ideas?

Get a gold anodized one. Ironman vibes and modern meets vintage vibes.

Cut a clear guard out of transparent sheet, and then find cool wallpaper to put underneath.

I would be interested in knowing where one can find a Mezzo pickguard or does it have to be cut out of a sheet? No luck finding anything online.

I have a new Ibanez Mezzo in forest green, and I totally like the bass, but I want to change out the pickguard to a different color.

I'm a bit late on this posting but throwing it out there in case others would like the info: for custom pick guards, truss rod covers, etc. I use "www.Terrapinguitars.com" .They have many designs and styles available, they recently did my Mezzo pick guard custom (sent them the original). I've attache pics of what I had ordered from them over the years.
