Let's legalize all of it and let Darwin get to work.
Marijuana IS decriminalized. If you get caught with less than an ounce it is still a misdemeanor. In fact, small amount of possession is actually an infraction. Neither one of these are often enforced. Still with that said, and ounce is a huge amount be carrying around on person. You can't walk around with an open container of alcohol either.
Sorry, but I don't want myself - or my children - subject to the paranoid, violent, schizo hell your 4-day meth binge turns into. Smoke as much pot as you can get your hands on, fine with me. Meth is a different - crazy, ugly, evil - animal. There's nothing "Darwin" about meth.

I have done it and quit. So has my wife. So have some other people I know. I do know someone who did it just once and never touched it again. Then again, this was nearly 15+ years ago, and as I understand it from other sources (TB'er jady being one), meth today is very different - much, much more dangerous - than it used to be. I also know many lives (wives, husbands, families, friends, etc.) that have been ruined by the evil that is meth. As I said before, I was lucky and realized what was happening before it was too late. Nothing about meth is worth gambling your life over.
I heard he drank a beer once too. The horror!
