Aguilar AG500 + What cab???

I use a aguilar DB 680 with a Crown XTI 2000 which is a great combo if anyone is looking for a power amp that doesnt cost a fortune to go with there DB 680. The Crown XTI 2000 has an amazing amount of head room. I was using one side of a crest CC 2800 which is rated at 965 watts and the XTI 2000 puts out more power without clipping with the same cab at 800 watts. I know this is a little off subject but I was so happy with the combo I needed to tell someone.

Here is mine AG500 with Epi 310UL I use this setup mostly,anyway AG500 sounds much biger and deeper with mine two GS112 I can cover any stage with this rig but it's too big for cellar clubs

either one works great, but i prefer the more easier voicing of the GS cabs. the DB's are just too inyourface. if you dont mind working the EQ a bit, the GS cabs seem more versatile to me.

and the no tweeter is for some players who actually dont prefer a tweeter at all. also, most players use the "NT" version as a slightly inexpensive companion to the regular versions of said cab. when i run my epifani ul112's, i usually turn off one tweeter to simulate the sound of a single ul212 w/ has only one tweeter.

If I still owned the DB750 I would still have the GS212. Those 2 are like peanut butter and jelly. The AG500 to my ears is not as warm as the DB750 so the Bergies kind of round the tone out for me a little better. Both great cabs.
