I’ll be interested to hear demos for TH and AG amps with the cab sim/IR. The new Ashdown RM offers something similar. More tools for gigs, I suppose?

Hopenfully they'll still have the 700 what versions. Had a TH 500 years ago and it was clip city. 700 was much better

If the v2 of the AG700/TH700 doesn’t allow 2ohm operation I’ll be disappointed. The second XLR, Cab IR, Headphone out/Aux in, all fine and dandy but if I can power two 4ohm cabs with one head I’ll likely purchase one.

What is the second DI for?

I've be never understood the transition Aguilar as a business made from the previous DB model era to the current ones. Was there a change in ownership?

As a former DB 751 owner (great amps) I didn’t understand either…until I got an Aguilar AG 700 and sold my DB 751.

The top two are the 500 watt versions of the new heads, previously the TH500 only went down to 4ohms. I’m hoping the new 700 watt versions go to 2ohms.

One might be a clean DI and the other colored by what’s inserted in the effects loop. Probably something like that.

The only Aguilar amp currently listed on Sweetwater is the 751. Looks like a reboot of the Class D offerings.

I have a DB-359 and yes it sounds great but it's so damn heavy I never take it out of the rehearsal space. I bring the AG700 to gigs.
